Mashnote
Hey, not bad. Entreat serve us some quality hardcore here. With firm roots in the new school genre and around long enogh to pick up some more influences from bands like Shai Hulud or other more complicated metallic hardcore, Entreats full lenth is pretty good. No geius record, but certainly offering you more than your basic hardcore band. Complicated melodic riffs and an ever present metallic sound make that convince more than their earlier stuff, which was also softer and mellow. Now the band sometimes even has a bit of a Swedish metal influence once in a while. Certainly "words" has a melodic metal thing going on with the evil grunting voice and all. I kinda dug that. I guess you will like this record if you like a cross between the more complicated US stuff like Shai Hulud and the Euro metal sound.
